Guacamole, guacamole, guacamole. It’s my favourite dip. It’s easy, it’s cheap, it’s tasty. Oh so tasty.  We had some fresh cilantro, a couple of avocados, a bag of lemons, and an abundance of tomatoes (A. eats them like candy). Guac it is!

Guacamole is so adaptable. You can add anything, really. Make it plain with just some lemon juice, add a tomato, slice an onion for it, chop up some garlic, or use everything. I like it best with cilantro, tomato, a fresh squeeze of lemon, a dash of salt, and plenty of tortilla chips.



  1. Slice avocado in half. Take out the pit, scoop out the inside, and put in a bowl. Mash it with a fork, add the juice of half a lemon, pit in sliced tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. Mix and serve immediately.
